FREE SCREENING

The 150th anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, May 5, 2012 inspired the epic motion picture CINCO DE MAYO: The Battle. During the Battle of Puebla, the Mexican army defeated the invading French Army while under the command of General Ignacio Zaragoza. In 2011, the Government of Puebla initiated this historical epic film that will premiere in the U.S. and Mexico this May. CINCO DE MAYO: The Battle is presented by the State of Puebla and co-produced with GALA Films, Estudios Churubusco Azteca, Equipment & Film Design, Labodigital y Televisa Films and directed by Rafa Lara.

Paco Gallástegui is one of the Producers of the
major motion film, Cinco de Mayo, La Batalla. He is
currently Associate Executive Producer in advertising of
Terciopelo Films. In 2009 he produced the film Rock Mari that would later go on to win the “Viewers of the Future” award for best children’s film at the International Film Festival of Guadalajara.
